About Longtown Outdoor Learning

Longtown Outdoor Learning is a charity that enables young people to build their character and resilience through outdoor learning and adventure.

The Centre’s 16-acre site, situated on the border between Herefordshire and Monmouthshire provides an ideal base for a wide range of exciting onsite activities including high-ropes, low-ropes, climbing, zip wire, leap-of-faith, stand-up paddle boarding, raft building and team challenges. Offsite activities take place in the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park and include caving, gorge walking, canoeing, climbing and mountain walking. Longtown Outdoors offers both day visits and residentials, these are carefully designed to meet the specific individual needs of those taking part and to provide opportunities for young people to develop their physical and emotional well-being.
Our mission is to provide high-quality outdoor learning and adventure for all.
