Bless my soul! Hercules is coming to Theatre Royal Drury lane summer 2025!
The show is based on the animated 1997 Disney classic that we all know and love. Hercules follows the son of Zeus and Hera who is stripped of his immortality as an infant and must become a true hero in order to reclaim it. Hercules features such Disney favorites as “Go the Distance,” “Zero to Hero,” and “I Won’t Say (I’m in Love).”
A stage version has been gradually worked on for many years and is currently playing at the Neue Flora theatre in Hamburg, Germany produced by Stage Entertainment.
It has a brand-new book by Robert Horn and Kwame Kwei-Armah, music and lyrics by Alan Menken and David Zippel, with direction and choreography by Casey Nicholaw and co-choreography by Tanisha Scott.
Coming to Theatre Royal Drury Lane, which is currently home to Disney’s Frozen (coming to an end in September). Hercules is sure to make a great school trip alongside Disney’s The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre.
