About Canterbury Guided Tours

An opportunity for students to experience some of Canterbury's most significant places and be transported through engaging storytelling.

Tours are tailored and can be themed to your students' special interests and learning requirements.

Their guides are all aware of how to keep the attention of young people, speaking loudly and clearly and using humour and gesture as much as possible.

Canterbury Guided Tours offers official, entertaining 90-minute walking tours for visiting groups to this historical part of Kent led by expert local Green Badge Guides. Explore the heart of Canterbury, surrounded by Roman walls, and discover the sights and sounds of this ancient city, full of history and medieval charm. All tours also route through the Cathedral Precincts allowing groups to marvel at its grand exterior.

Every tour is tailored to the group’s requirements and will be created specifically for the age group and study programme, if required. This can be in the form of their Themed Tour option which can include tour topics such as: Romans, Tudors, War Time Canterbury, Literary Connections, among many others! Your tour can be arranged at a day and time to suit your group’s schedule and itinerary. Their Guides are all aware of how to keep the attention of young people, speaking loudly and clearly and using humour and gesture as much as possible.
