About

She’s on her way! The world premiere of Nanny McPhee The Musical arrives in London’s West End in summer 2027, bringing a spectacular new adventure based on the beloved 2005 film.

The musical features a world-class creative team, with the book by Academy Award®, BAFTA, Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning Emma Thompson, music by singer-songwriter Gary Clark (Sing Street), and original lyrics by Thompson and Clark.

Directed by Katy Rudd, with set and costume design by Tony and Olivier Award-winner Rob Howell and choreography by award-winning Ellen Kane, this enchanting production promises magic, music, mischief and adventure for audiences of all ages.

When the mysterious Nanny McPhee arrives at the chaotic Brown household, she encounters unruly children, a desperate father, an out-of-control donkey and a determined baby. Armed with her knobbly stick, unconventional methods and a little magic, she sets out to restore order — but the children aren’t the only ones with lessons to learn.
