This Learn Live session celebrates Women’s History Month by telling the story of Votes for Women in the UK. The video features an interview with Mari Takayanagi, who is a Senior Archivist at UK Parliament and an expert in the history of women’s suffrage in the UK.
This educational video is part of the Learn Live Sessions. Learn Live is a fun, interactive approach to engage students with the work of the UK Parliament. Each session lasts around 30 minutes and is streamed on YouTube.
It’s up to you how many students, classes or year groups join in. Make sure your students can hear the session, as they will be asked to discuss specific questions throughout. All you need is a whiteboard with a reliable internet connection.
