Drama Teacher and theatre lover, Lisa Gilmour, has created Theatre Reach, a new YouTube channel to connect teachers with theatre professionals.
Theatre Reach is a place where professional theatre-makers can reach out and inspire the next generation and keep the curtain raised. The channel will share insights and inspiring stories about the world of theatre, to motivate the next generation of theatre-makers and their audiences.
Videos are shared with Drama Teachers to educate and inspire their students. The channel will host interviews with people across the theatre spectrum from actors and writers to directors and creatives. Professionals are asked to film a short video of them sharing their personal stories, career development, insights and inspirational stories of their time in the industry.
Current videos include insights from Gemma Storr (Composer at the RSC), Ryan Heenan (Actor), Michelle Smith (Artistic Director of Theatre for Life), Joe Sims (Actor) and William Ross Jones (Actor & Director).
See the current videos on the Theatre Reach YouTube channel.
