About

In KS1 Fur, Feathers and scales (classification) students will focus on mammals, birds and reptiles, and compare the contrasting features of vertebrate groups. The workshop takes place at our Wild Lands zone.

Intended learning objectives:

  • To compare a variety of animals and separate them into categories.
  • Describe why animals are in different categories.
  • A colourful work book is provided for each child; with independent activities to do in the Park or back in the classroom.

Mini-Meet Zoo workshops take place on a Wednesday and a Friday only and they can only accept one class per date.
