Southbank Centre’s Secondary Schools Takeover: Mickalene Thomas & Linder Sterling Workshop

This day of free activities is organised and delivered by their lead secondary school, the Takeover Team.

For Hayward Gallery Takeovers, the Schools team at the Southbank Centre works closely with one secondary school group, the Takeover Team, and artist-educators to develop a deeper understanding of our current exhibition.

This prepares the Takeover Team to lead and deliver a day of workshops and discussions for other young people in the gallery.

The Takeover Team welcomes other secondary schools to come and learn about the artist’s techniques and works, explore careers in the arts and participate in art-making workshops in response to the exhibition.
