About

The Wallace Collection has one of the most famous collections of armour in the world. In this active, hands-on session, students will investigate the purpose and styles of 15th- and 16th-century armour, and the materials used to make it. Through object handling, observation and discussion, participants they will learn how armour evolved and explore how different ranks, from knights to foot soldiers, protected themselves in battle.
