About

Accompany your school trip to WWT Washington with this workshop for EYFS – KS3.

Discover wetland micro-habitats and identify the invertebrates you find there. Observe and investigate their behaviours and adaptations. Identify the creatures you find using magnifying glasses and ID guides. How are mini- beasts designed for their particular wetland or woodland home?

Informative and engaging, WWT Washington’s curriculum-linked learning sessions make the most of the fantastic outdoor environments and are suitable for a range of ages and abilities.

Led by experienced staff, sessions are very much hands-on, promoting learning through exploration and discovery.
