About

Accompany your school trip to WWT Washington with this workshop for KS1, KS2 & KS3.

Catch freshwater animals and explore their adaptations and behaviour, magnified with their underwater camera. Use your observations to group animals. What do you think your animals do in the pond and what do they need to survive? Who’s eating who in the food chain?

Informative and engaging, WWT Washington’s curriculum-linked learning sessions make the most of the fantastic outdoor environments and are suitable for a range of ages and abilities.

Led by experienced staff, sessions are very much hands-on, promoting learning through exploration and discovery.
