About

The British Library houses stories, spoken word, playscripts and poetry from writers across the globe. And now itโ€™s your turn! Become a writer for the day in this creative writing workshop for Secondary and Further Education students.

Created by professional writers and led by experienced learning facilitators, this workshop will introduce learners to a range of creative techniques to generate new writing. Students will gain confidence in drafting and editing their own work and take a guided tour through the Treasures of the British Library gallery to look at some of the incredible original draft material on display from writers whose words changed the world.
