Accompany your school trip to WWT Llanelli with this workshop for KS1 & KS2.
Students discover the main sources of plastic pollution and the problems this is causing for wetlands. They investigate how long plastic stays in the environment and what they can do to help improve the situation.
Informative and engaging, WWT Llanelli’s curriculum-linked learning sessions make the most of the fantastic outdoor environments and are suitable for a range of ages and abilities.
Led by experienced staff, sessions are very much hands-on, promoting learning through exploration and discovery.

Llanelli Wetland Centre provides unique opportunities for learners of all ages and abilities to interact with wetland wildlife from the UK and across the world.
Their educational visit packages cover key science, geography and PSHE topics from EYFS to university level. They include curriculum-linked learning sessions, free return visits for teachers, pupils and their families and a range of resources to extend pupil’s learning before, during and after their visit.
