About
Come to Islington, where the streets are paved with gold… Dick Whittington’s adventure begins when he journeys to London town to find fame and fortune, with his trusty cat in tow.
But with rats running riot, the big city doesn’t quite match up to his dreams… Can the young hero save Islington from the Rat King’s clutches, and restore London to its former glory? And will he find love along the way?
Back for its third year, North London’s favourite panto is sure to bring festive cheer for all the family. With show-stopping musical numbers, toe-tapping tunes, and a whole lotta laughs, this is a theatrical delight not to be missed.
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK favourites River Medway and Victoria Scone star, with Victoria returning to the theatre as ‘Dragpuss’, following her appearance as ‘Dame Trott’ in last year’s Jack and the Beanstalk, and River making her King’s Head Theatre debut as ‘Queen Rat’.
Andrew Pollard, winner of Best Writer at the 2026 UK Pantomime Awards, returns to write and direct for a third year. The Golden Bells Pay It Forward scheme also returns, helping more local children experience panto for free, following more than 2,250 free school visits over the past two years.
