About Beat Goes On

Beat Goes On are one of the UKโs leading percussion workshop companies. Their team includes former cast members of the hit show STOMP, an
experience they incorporate into workshops.
They have delivered keynotes at the Latin American Heads Conference in Sรฃo Paulo, BSME (British Schools in the Middle East)โs inaugural Music & Drama Conference in Dubai, Musical Futures Australia’s ‘Big Gig’ in Melbourne, a residency at North London Collegiate School Jeju in South Korea, a conference in Saskatchewan, Canada, a residency in Virginia, USA, residencies and Little Kids Rock’s ‘Modern Band Summit’ in the USA and numerous events throughout Europe.
Their workshops include –
– STOMP-style Body Percussion (all ages)
– Afro-Brazilian Percussion including Samba (age 7 upwards)
– Body Percussion with Literacy (using literacy as a stimulus for body
percussion composition) (all ages)
– STOMP-style Junk Percussion / Basketballs (ages 8 upwards)
– West African Percussion (age 7 upwards)
All of their workshops include a built-in CPD / PD element, allowing students and staff to continue develop their ideas following the workshop.
