About Beegu

Based on Alexis Deacon's beloved book Beegu

Alexis Deacon’s much-loved tale is brought to life in this heart-warming stage adaptation written and directed by Debbie Hannan.

A modern children’s classic, Beegu was New York Times Book Review Best Illustrated Book of the Year and shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal, with Alexis Deacon being named one of Booktrust’s ten Best New Illustrators (2008).
