Box House Theatre are a professional theatre company who specialise in the performance practice of Platform Theatre. Box House stand as proof that impressive theatre should not be restricted to budgets, resources and opportunity, and that “boundary pushing theatre” is born from imagination and creativity alone.
Alongside their professional theatre productions, Box House Theatre also extend to drama education and institutions both nationally and internationally through their workshops. They provide the tools and techniques to develop the creative independence of young theatre makers by extracting knowledge and expertise from their professional theatre creations.
As practitioners, Box House break down the traditional approach to theatre creation and performance by introducing their very own theories and practices through their workshops such as Devising Platform Theatre, Abstract Theatre Creation, Devising Naturalistic Theatre and Practitioners of Theatre.
