About

Secondary school, sixth form, and college groups are invited to see the UK debut of COLOSSUS from award-winning Australian choreographer Stephanie Lake.

Watch 60 dancers move as one in this riveting performance exploring relationships between the individual and the collective.

As complex patterns ripple through the flood of figures, a single movement triggers a chain reaction moving them from chaos to order.

This performance is an opportunity for KS3, KS4 and KS5 students studying arts subjects, such as Dance, Drama and Music, to experience a cutting-edge performance at the UK’s largest arts centre.

Enrich students’ learning and ignite a passion for the arts.

This production is a collaboration between the London Contemporary Dance School at The Place and the Southbank Centre.
