About
A full-scale and fully operational replica of Francis Drake’s iconic ship, The Golden Hinde is the perfect place to visit for anyone studying the Elizabethans, pirates or explorers.
Designed to complement the national curriculum, their hands-on educational programmes give students a sense of the lived experience of 16th-century mariners in order to enrich their understanding of key historical events. Raise the anchor, fire the cannons and discover what life was truly like for Elizabethan seafarers.
“Fantastic staff who were very well informed about the history of the vessel and the society of Elizabethan England. Easy to book and brilliant team to work with.”
