Golden Tours’ Windsor Sightseeing Tour (Half Day)

This is a fully guided half day tour to Windsor. Meet your tour guide at your requested pick up location. From here, your group will be escorted to Windsor.

Enjoy the famous ceremony – changing of guards outside the castle which attracts million tourists every year (subject to availability). Windsor Castle is famed for its spectacular architecture, and is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world. For over 1000 years it has been home to Royals, and is currently one of the official residencies for Her Majesty the Queen. During your tour of Windsor Castle and the grounds you will also visit St George’s Chapel – the venue for many recent Royal weddings and the resting place for many past monarchs, including Henry VIII and his favourite wife Jane Seymour, Queen Mary, and Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. See the memorials and spend some quiet time wandering around this traditional chapel. If time permits the Guide will offer a short walking tour of the Windsor. At the end of the tour coach will transfer the group back to your pick up point.
