In KS1 What do they eat (diet and classification) students will focus on animal diets and classification.

The workshop takes place next to their penguin & tortoise habitats.

Intended learning objectives:

  • To compare a variety of animals and separate them into categories based on what they eat
  • Understand the meaning of carnivore, herbivore and omnivore
  • Identify animals that are in each category
  • A colourful workbook is provided for each child; with independent activities to do in the Park or back in the classroom

Mini-Meet Zoo workshops take place on a Wednesday and a Friday only and they can only accept one class per date
