About

Accompany your school trip to WWT Llanelli with this workshop for KS2 & KS3.

Use nets to discover the wide variety of freshwater animals living in their purpose-built raised ponds. Observe, identify and compare the creatures using magnifying glasses and ID guides. How is each animal adapted to life in a pond and how do they interact with each other? Students will be shown a selection under their powerful microscope for a really close look!

Informative and engaging, WWT Llanelli’s curriculum-linked learning sessions make the most of the fantastic outdoor environments and are suitable for a range of ages and abilities.

Led by experienced staff, sessions are very much hands-on, promoting learning through exploration and discovery.
