About

Accompany your school trip to WWT Llanelli with this workshop for KS2 & KS3.

A chance for students to work as conservation scientists identifying migratory birds and analysing the threats they face, from weather and poaching, to changes in land use. Teams will monitor habitats and species at WWT Llanelli. What can their observations tell us about the human impact on migratory birds?

Informative and engaging, WWT Llanelli’s curriculum-linked learning sessions make the most of the fantastic outdoor environments and are suitable for a range of ages and abilities.

Led by experienced staff, sessions are very much hands-on, promoting learning through exploration and discovery.
