About

Accompany your school trip to WWT London with this workshop for KS2.

Students explore the causes of climate change and the impact this is having on wetlands. They investigate the role of wetlands in helping to ‘prevent’ climate change and consider the role they can play as individuals. They take on the role of leaves, showing how plants have an important role to play in absorbing carbon dioxide.

Informative and engaging, WWT London’s curriculum-linked learning sessions make the most of the fantastic outdoor environments and are suitable for a range of ages and abilities.

Led by experienced staff, sessions are very much hands-on, promoting learning through exploration and discovery.
