About

Accompany your school trip to WWT Martin Mere with this workshop for KS2.

Play the ‘bugs and their jobs’ game then catch woodland invertebrates, identify them and discuss how they are adapted to live in their habitat. Lower KS2 play the ‘Who Am I?’ game to refine ID skills. Y5 play the class game of sorting into six animals and their life cycles. Y6 develop the idea of animal adaptations leading to evolution for survival.

Informative and engaging, WWT Martin Mere’s curriculum-linked learning sessions make the most of the fantastic outdoor environments and are suitable for a range of ages and abilities.

Led by experienced staff, sessions are very much hands-on, promoting learning through exploration and discovery.
