About

Accompany your school trip to WWT Martin Mere with this workshop for EYFS & KS1.

Dip with nets in WWT Martin Mere’s wildlife ponds to find freshwater invertebrates. Explore and identify the animals you have caught using ID charts. How do your animals move? Are they herbivore, carnivore or omnivore? Are they in a food chain?

Informative and engaging, WWT Martin Mere’s curriculum-linked learning sessions make the most of the fantastic outdoor environments and are suitable for a range of ages and abilities.

Led by experienced staff, sessions are very much hands-on, promoting learning through exploration and discovery.
