Key Info

Accompany your school trip to WWT Martin Mere with this workshop for EYFS & KS1.

The workshop starts by turning each student into a minibeast and playing a simple game to show how different bugs do different jobs. The students explore the woodland to discover what lives there – searching under logs requires care and patience! They’ll identify their catch then record how their structure is useful to them.

Informative and engaging, WWT Martin Mere’s curriculum-linked learning sessions make the most of the fantastic outdoor environments and are suitable for a range of ages and abilities.

Led by experienced staff, sessions are very much hands-on, promoting learning through exploration and discovery.
