About

Accompany your school trip to WWT Slimbridge with this workshop for KS1 – KS3.

Catch freshwater animals and explore their adaptations, body parts and behaviour. Use your observations to group animals and make predictions. What do you think your animals do in the pond and what do they need to survive?

This session can be adapted to focus on food chains or life cycles if required.

Informative and engaging, WWT Slimbridge’s curriculum-linked learning sessions make the most of the fantastic outdoor environments and are suitable for a range of ages and abilities.

Led by experienced staff, sessions are very much hands-on, promoting learning through exploration and discovery.
