About

Accompany your school trip to WWT Washington with this workshop for KS1 – KS3.

Observe ducks, geese and swans to study their behaviour and identify how they’re perfectly adapted to their environment. Investigate adaptations from webbed feet to oiled feathers. Which features will you spot and what difference do they make?

Informative and engaging, WWT Washington’s curriculum-linked learning sessions make the most of the fantastic outdoor environments and are suitable for a range of ages and abilities.

Led by experienced staff, sessions are very much hands-on, promoting learning through exploration and discovery.
