What to Expect on Your School Trip
Students discover the role Bristol played in the history of aviation and explore the stories of the remarkable people behind the city’s aerospace achievements.
A visit lets students see science in action through the exhibits, the interactives and the curriculum-linked education sessions. There’s a varied programme of workshops to choose from, all designed to spark students’ interest in investigative science and support their learning back at school.

Options run from Story Time in Space for EYFS and Filton’s Aero Heroes for KS1, through Blast-off Rockets, Mission to Mars: Cracking Coding and Supersonic Sound for KS2, up to The Price is Right and Mission to Mars: Winning Prototypes for KS3. Between them they cover Design & Technology, History, Maths, Science and STEM, so lining a session up with whatever you’re teaching that term is straightforward.
