About

St Albans Cathedral’s activities for Nursery and Early Years students.

Drawing inspiration from the Cathedral building, St Albans Cathedral have a number of activities that develop skills in Maths and Science.

Their trails include Buckets Full of Shape and Colour and Shape & Measure in Maths, and All About Me – Our 5 Senses, and Materials in Science. Our Clay Tiles workshop and Stained Glass Window workshop complement these activities wonderfully.

Most schools combine two activities, usually a trail and a workshop, to make a whole day of their visit. Trails include drama and costumes to help students develop their learning, whilst most workshops allow them to create a piece of artwork to take home at the end of the visit.
