aod’s production of Lysistrata
Reviews of Lysistrata
‘A slick hilariously funny show which rattles along at high speed on the strength of fine ensemble work from its cast of five… Timeless stuff’
The Stage
”It soon became clear that this version is closer in purpose to the original than anything before. It was a profound experience. I have not laughed so much in months, but it made me think. At a time in the arts, and elsewhere, when the temptation might be to play it safe, it’s good that there are still risk-takers about.’
Hexham Courant
