School trips have always been highlights of the school year. They provide incredible learning experiences and amazing opportunities for young people to experience something new.
As the Department of Education has now announced that school trips can return, students and teachers speak about their experiences and how it’s shaped their lives.
In the video, we hear from teachers and students about their school trip experiences and how it’s shaped their lives. A number of interviewed students speak about the confidence that trips gave them to experience new things and the value it gave to their learning. Teachers also share their thoughts about how school trips give accessible experiences for all students and help to build the student/teacher working relationship.
