About

Accompany your school trip to WWT Martin Mere with this workshop for EYFS & KS1.

Become a bird as it hatches and learns to walk, feed, swim and eventually, fly. Become a flamingo and learn the flamingo dance. Compare the differences with yourself on a short walk in the waterfowl gardens.

Informative and engaging, WWT Martin Mere’s curriculum-linked learning sessions make the most of the fantastic outdoor environments and are suitable for a range of ages and abilities.

Led by experienced staff, sessions are very much hands-on, promoting learning through exploration and discovery.
