Make the most of a London Primary School Trip
A day out in London can shift how younger students see a subject. Standing in front of a real object, watching a live performance or taking part in a practical workshop gives them something concrete to hold on to when they get back to the classroom. Many London venues are used to primary groups and plan around them, with shorter sessions, indoor lunch space, cloakrooms for bags and coats, and staff who are happy to answer questions from a class of thirty. Travel is often simpler than teachers expect too, with plenty of options reachable by coach or public transport and free entry at a good number of the capital’s major museums.
With so many choices, having the right support can make planning much easier. That’s where we come in. We work directly with school trip venues and providers to help you find the best options for your group.
If you want help finding your next London Primary School Trip, our School Trip Coordinators are here to help. Email hello@theschooltrip.co.uk or call 020 8064 0974.

Are there school trips that come with free teaching resources?
Yes, and many of the trips listed on The School Trip come with free lesson plans, classroom activities and other resources you can use before, during or after the visit.
Are there school trips suitable for primary and secondary students?
